Briggs&Stratton is a global manufacturer of power generation, lawn and garden turf care, and job site products. Founded in 1908 by an informal partnership between Stephen Foster Briggs and Harold M. Stratton. The company initially became renowned for its agricultural and military applications, then they revolutionized the lawn and garden industry with the development of the first lightweight aluminum engine. On top of producing various engines, the company has now grown more diverse by acquiring many popular brands along the way such as Generac Portable Products, Simplicity, Snapper, Allmand, and Billygoat.
